For the special application area of carpentry, we offer planer knives for various beam planers, including Hema, HolzHer, Mafell, Makita, Protool, Festool as well as TersoTri planer knives for Hundegger timber framing systems.
Our carpentry knives are manufactured with Trimetall technology. They have a three-layer sandwich construction, with only the middle layer being soft and flexible, while the two cutting edges are made of ultra-hardened HSS-M42 material (24%). The cutting edges feature a mirror-polished bevel and a polished back bevel, resulting in a significantly better planing finish and longer tool life.
